Hello. I'm Hannah. 21 years old, studying Molecular Biology at the University of Toronto. I want to go into Genetics Research. I live outside of Toronto with my charming boyfriend, Jake Martin, in a home we recently bought. Family and friends are super important to me. I'm really down to earth and enjoy like minded people.
Jake had been asleep since sometime early that night and he respected the fact that she hadn’t been feeling good. So he did something quietly in the other room before finally heading to bed himself. Work was usually the downfall to him going to bed fairly early. But that night he stayed up a bit longer than normal, giving her a headstart on sleeping with her headache. Anyone who had a headache could have a difficult time sleeping to begin with. Which in turn, made it a perfect time for him at least to sketch. When he had finally gone to bed she was already asleep and he gave her a gently kiss on the forehead before getting under the covers. The bed was warm enough that when his eyes closed it was only a matter of minutes before he was asleep.
He didn’t know what time it was or if it was daylight. He would assume not on the daylight theory. Yet he had felt her kissing him as he wasn’t in his deep sleep anymore. At first he didn’t want to open his eyes. He just wanted to make her think that he was still dead to the world and everything that was going on in it. But he didn’t. He wasn’t one to be cruel if he could help it. Shifting enough so was laying on his side facing her body, he had opened his eyes and yawned. “Mmm, hi to you too.” he said with a chuckle and a smile.
The smile earned him another peck. Mission was a success. Hannah curled her arms around him and looped a leg around him lazily. She was going to enjoy not being huge while she still could. Every time she looked in the mirror she could swear her bump was getting more noticeable. It really wasn’t there yet. It was mostly in her head but it didn’t change the fact that Hannah was certain she was starting to show a bit. “I hope you weren’t enjoying that dream too much,” she told him simply, her smile broadening. Her voice was low even though there really wasn’t anyone in the house to bother. They were in their big house all alone and they could talk as loud as they wanted to and it wouldn’t bother anyone. She watched the shadows from the moon shining in through the window move across his face. It made her heart skip a beat.
“You get more handsome every day. Did you know that?” she said trying to soften him up a bit. She wasn’t sure what she was playing at yet but she supposed she’d figure out the plan of action shortly enough. Mostly she just wanted to lay in their bed and kiss on him. She wanted to pretend like he didn’t have to go to work in a few hours. Maybe if she was lucky things would work out so they could actually go to the cabin this weekend like they’d discussed. She felt a bit selfish sometimes but she just liked spending alone time with him. Work and everything else simply needed to take the back-burner. Most of the time she was willing share but occasionally she had her moments where she didn’t. “If crazy holiday work schedule is going to get in the way of alone time, I’m going to start claiming random late night time — and maybe some of your breaks,” she told him. “What do you have to say about that?”
